General Dentist

Dr. Aby Malyil is a distinguished General Dentist with over 20 years of specialized experience in Endodontics. His extensive expertise and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Dr. Malyil holds a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, India, and began his dental career with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore University. To further enhance his skills and knowledge, he completed the Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) International Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA.

Throughout his career, Dr. Malyil has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to dentistry, receiving prestigious accolades such as the Award of Excellence in February 2000 and the Best Article of the Year Award in November 1999. His dedication to patient care is reflected in his meticulous approach to diagnosing and treating diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues, with a particular focus on root canal procedures.

Dr. Malyil is also deeply passionate about education. He takes pride in mentoring and training the next generation of dental professionals, ensuring they are equipped to provide the highest standard of care. His involvement in creating educational resources for both students and patients plays a vital role in promoting dental awareness and knowledge within the community.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Malyil is an avid cyclist who enjoys exploring new places, whether cruising through city streets or tackling challenging trails. His love for cycling and music brings balance to his life, keeping him connected to the world around him.

A motivated and enthusiastic individual, Dr. Dipak Chaudhari has over twenty years of clinical experience as a dental professional. Dedicated to dentistry, Dr. Chaudhari, as he is endearingly known by his patients, spent six years serving underprivileged children in rural areas in India. He enjoys all aspects of his dental practice with a keen interest in esthetics and implants. Currently working as an associate dentist, a role he has held for almost four years, Dr. Chaudhari is responsible for the overall care of patients. “Putting the patient first” and providing them the most updated treatment is his mission. He is skilled in developing long-term relationships with patients through transparent communications and exemplary care.

Beginning his education in India, Dr. Chaudhari completed his bachelor’s in dental surgery here before going to gain valuable hands-on experiences. Within his experience of working with underprivileged children from 2001-2006, he has developed community programs for both children and local county schools. Having gained a solid foundation of his hands-on skills and practical knowledge which he wanted to develop upon, Dr. Chaudhari decided to further pursue his training in the US. Upon arriving in the US, he went onto gain both a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Science in Oral Biology degree, alongside working in his current role as an associate dentist. He has also gained certification in Advanced Implant and Maxillofacial Prosthetics. He has also been an avid researcher from 2008-2011, concentrating on innovating new biocompatible restorative material and oral cancer. Dipak is now a published researcher: his paper “Novel Strategies to Enhance Function, Survival, and Regeneration of the Pulp after Dental Restorations” appears in the Journal of California Dental Association. In 2013, Dipak graduated from UCLA with a DDS program: in addition, he is an affiliate of numerous professional bodies, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Moving forward, Dr. Chaudhari is eager to establish himself as an esthetic dentist in Lancaster, raising awareness among the community about the prevention of dental diseases. To continue his personal development, Dr. Chaudhari intends to remain up-to-date in the fields of implant, sleep apnea, and esthetics while also engaging in fellowships in general dentistry and esthetics. This advanced training will equip him to achieve his ultimate goal, which is to provide excellent dental care to his patients.

A family man, Dr. Dipak Chaudhari is a loving husband to his wife and a doting father to his two young sons. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, photography, and hiking.

Dr. Silke Cummings, a passionate and dedicated orthodontist, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica. Her journey to becoming a respected dental professional in the United States is a testament to her unwavering commitment to her chosen field.

Silke’s early fascination with orthodontics began during her teenage years, as she sported braces herself. She often found herself lingering in the orthodontic clinic after her appointments, absorbing knowledge and observing the intricacies of the profession. Her passion for dentistry truly took root during a transformative week-long dental program at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania during high school, solidifying her determination to pursue a career in this field.

She pursued her higher education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Biology, laying the foundation for her future dental career. Silke’s academic prowess and dedication earned her the Dean’s Scholarship throughout her undergraduate years, a testament to her hard work and commitment to excellence. She graduated cum laude, setting the stage for her continued success.

Silke’s journey continued as she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the same esteemed institution. Dental school proved to be demanding, but Silke’s unwavering determination and exceptional academic performance propelled her forward. Her dedication paid off, and she graduated with honors, a testament to her intellect and perseverance.

With a deep desire to specialize and further her expertise in orthodontics, Dr. Silke Cummings pursued an orthodontics residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. During this time, she also completed her Master of Science in Dentistry, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the intricate art and science of orthodontics.

Today, Dr. Silke Cummings stands as a distinguished member of the AAO (Association of Orthodontics) and proudly holds the title of an ABO (American Board of Orthodontics) board-certified orthodontist, showcasing her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence.

Outside the world of orthodontics, Dr. Silke, as she prefers to be called, cherishes the joys of family life. She and her loving husband, Mike, recently celebrated the arrival of their precious baby girl, Noa. In her cherished moments of free time, Dr. Silke indulges in her long-time hobby of assembling intricate jigsaw puzzles, savoring the diverse cuisines from her travels, and relishing quality moments with her beloved family and friends. Her multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication to her profession make Dr. Silke Cummings a remarkable and well-rounded individual.

Dr. Amanda Fu earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of Delaware. She continued her education at Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry, completing her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2020. Dr. Amanda’s decision to pursue a career in dentistry was motivated by a lifelong passion for helping people and caring for families in times of need.

In 2021, Dr. Amanda chose Lancaster County as the place to begin her dental career and moved to our community to join the Smilebuilderz Team. Dr. Amanda’s philosophy is to provide compassionate, quality care to her patients and educate them on the importance of maintaining their oral health. Her favorite part of dentistry is interacting with patients and creating personalized treatment plans that improve their oral health and overall well-being

Dr. Amanda’s life outside patient care is a tapestry of vibrant interests. She savors the excitement of exploring local cuisine, indulging in the diverse flavors that her community has to offer. Nature beckons her as she spends time outdoors, embarking on new hiking trails and immersing herself in the serene beauty of the natural world. As winter descends, she seamlessly transitions into an adrenaline-fueled pursuit – snowboarding. Oral Surgeon

Dr. Joo graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Dental School(Rutgers).

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Joo accepted commission to join the US Navy, completing general practice residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. Dr. Joo went on to complete Navy’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, serving as a Chief Resident in his final year. He served total 12 years in the US Navy, stationed all around the world.

He is a Diplomate of ABOMS and is a Fellow of AAOMS. In his spare time, Dr Joo enjoys working on his cars and participating in weekend racing events.

Dr. Kubiczek’s educational journey began at the University of Maryland at College Park Campus, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. She furthered her professional pursuits at the esteemed Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated. Following her graduation, she pursued a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, solidifying her expertise in the field.

With over 15 years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Kubiczek is deeply passionate about every aspect of her work. Her unwavering dedication to providing direct dental care has been a driving force throughout her career. Driven by her commitment to excellence, she consistently strives to deliver top-tier dental services, a testament to her continuous quest for perfection.

Outside her professional endeavors, Dr. Kubiczek finds immense joy in spending quality time with her family. Dr. Abigail Lorah received her B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City. She then went on to receive her D.M.D degree from Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Dr. Lorah continued her advanced training by completing a General Practice Residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she developed advanced skills in all phases of Implant Dentistry as well as Cosmetic Dentistry and Endodontics. Her passion for dentistry leads her to seek opportunities for continuing education courses that provide information on new techniques to allow her the opportunity to be up-to-date with the continuously evolving field of dentistry. Her professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. While attending dental school, Dr. Lorah welcomed the opportunity to participate in a mission trip that took her and her colleagues to the rural area of Jamaica to provide much-needed dental care to an underserved population. She thoroughly enjoyed her experience and its purpose so much that she’s made plans to participate in more service trips in the future.

When Dr. Lorah is not practicing dentistry, she is off enjoying quality time with her husband, running, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Barbara Magee has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Temple University with several honors and scholarships for academic achievements. She continued her education at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, where she graduated with her DMD degree. Since graduation, Dr. Magee has actively participated in numerous continuing education programs and study clubs such as Spear Education, Breathe Institute, Phelan Dental Seminars, Healthy Start, Invisalign, Biolase laser courses, Clinical Master Classes, Aesthetic Advantage Cosmetic Dentistry Courses, Dr. Koerner Oral Surgery and more to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and information. Dr. Magee is an Invisalign and Healthy Start provider.

Dr. Magee firmly believes that everyone deserves a healthy and functional smile. Her mission in dentistry is to provide patients with the highest quality service while being compassionate, gentle, and professional. Her gentle methods of treatment and poised mannerisms led to many referrals and much praise from her previous and current patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Magee enjoys traveling, hiking, lindy hop dancing, salsa, bachata dancing, photography, and spending time with family and friends.

Pediatric

Dr. Celeste A. Mensah or “Dr. M” as her patients know her, is passionate about providing quality care to children. By specializing in children’s dentistry, her goal is to make every child’s visit fun, fearless and special.

Dr. M believes in a conservative and minimally invasive approach to treating dental problems, as your child’s comfort and safety are of the utmost importance to her.

She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, TN; from there she continued her studies at the New York University College of Dentistry where she was involved with the Special Patient Care Honors program. Dr. M loved her time with patients with special needs and immediately pursued a General Practice Residency/Fellowship at Helen Hayes Hospital (affiliated with Columbia University) in Upstate New York following graduation from dental school.

After accomplishing one her lifetime goals of becoming a dentist, her love for children and patients with special care needs led her to specialize in pediatrics and complete an additional two year Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she served as Chief Resident. During her specialty training at Brookdale, she received a wide range of experience working with children with craniofacial anomalies, special needs/neurodivergence, as well as children with complex medical histories. In addition, Dr. M completed a fellowship in Dental Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine where she received advanced training in sedation and airway management.

She is committed to the safety of her patients and ensuring that each and every visit is comfortable and FUN!

Raised in the Northern Virginia area and NYC, Dr. M is excited to be back in the Northeast in Pennsylvania. When she is not in the office chasing sugar bugs, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, working out, and trying new foods!

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Ali is a distinguished oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose career began after completing his education at Virginia Commonwealth University. His passion for the field, driven by the intricacies and life-changing nature of the surgeries, led him to pursue rigorous training through internships at the Oral Surgical Institute and the Medical College of Georgia. This was followed by a residency at Temple University Hospital and the University of Kentucky, under the guidance of Dr. Larry Cunningham. Further honing his skills, Dr. Ali completed a fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery and achieved Board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Ali specializes in managing high-risk cases, often receiving referrals for the most challenging scenarios. His approach to patient care is characterized by honesty, transparency, and active patient involvement, ensuring not only technical success but also patient comfort and trust.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Ali is also actively involved with the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. These affiliations reflect his commitment to ongoing professional development and community engagement.

Residing in Center City, Philadelphia, with his wife and son, Dr. Ali enjoys a well-rounded life with interests in soccer, exploring various coffee cultures, and video gaming. Dr. Janelle Nassar is a dedicated and compassionate dentist at Smilebuilderz in Lancaster, PA. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Nassar earned her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry with a deep commitment to comprehensive dental care. Her passion for dentistry stems from a desire to help people enhance their smiles and overall well-being, which she achieves through her expertise and patient-focused approach.

Dr. Nassar is known for her gentle touch and personalized care, ensuring each patient receives the attention and treatment they need for optimal oral health. Orthodontist

Dr. Nicolaescu strongly believes that a beautiful smile is the greatest gift, and he is excited to share in this life-changing experience with our patients. He truly enjoys the practice of orthodontics and loves the confidence that our patients gain when they see their new smile.

Dr. Nicolaescu, also known as “Dr. Nic” to his patients, is a proud graduate of Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. After attending college at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, he returned to the area and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nic was inducted in the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, an organization reserved for the top ten graduates of each class. After receiving his DMD, he remained at UPenn to complete the Orthodontic residency program.

After finishing school, Dr. Nic spent four years working in private practice outside of Philadelphia and taught part-time clinical orthodontics at UPenn. He has since moved back to his former hometown, Manheim Township. He is excited to be part of a dynamic team that provides high quality, state-of-the-art orthodontic care in a compassionate, comfortable, and energetic environment.

Dr. Nicolaescu is an active member of various professional associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. He is an avid reader of history and enjoys sailing, drawing, and outdoor activities.

Periodontist

Dr. John Nikas received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1983 where he also received his DMD in 1986. He went on to receive his certification in periodontology from Temple University Dental School. Dr. Nikas is a board-certified periodontist and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Oral Implantology.

Dr. Nikas has been placing implants since 1990 and has extensive training in all aspects of implant dentistry. He has placed single implants, multiple implants, and has extensive experience in full-mouth restoration many times referred to as All-On-Four®.

Dr. Nikas practiced in Pittsburgh for 18 years in his own specialty practice in addition to collaborating with other specialty groups. He moved to the Philadelphia area in 2006 and has been with Smilebuilderz almost since its inception.
In his free time, Dr. Nikas spends time with his wife, Georgia, and their two children, Alexandra and John Peter. He loves tasting new wines, traveling, and works out regularly.

We are excited to have Dr. Seungjoo Park as part of our dental team. Dr. Park is a 2008 graduate from the University of South Florida where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology with a minor in Public Health and Biophysics. Dr. Park decided to further her studies and went on to receive her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Temple University in 2013.

Dr. Park’s decision to pursue a career in dentistry stemmed from her love for math and science as well as her feeling of fulfillment when accomplishing hands-on projects. She knew that in order to obtain a fulfilling dental career, it would require dedication and perseverance. Her need to attain the professional knowledge and the skillset needed to help her serve people was her source of inspiration and motivation.

Dr. Park’s philosophy is to provide honest, quality dental treatment in a comfortable environment. Her passion for dentistry allows her to fulfill her joy of building relationships with her patients while providing an essential service. Dr. Park continues to emerge herself on gaining more knowledge with new technology and welcomes new challenges.

Dr. Park’s goal is to improve her patient’s understanding of the importance of dental care. She understands that there are patients who may be fearful of the dentist. She strives to help patients overcome that fear by providing the best dental care possible in the most comfortable and painless environment. Working at Smilebuilderz has given her extensive experience treating patients in all phases of dentistry from grandparents to toddlers.

Dr. Park stays current on the latest advances by attending continuing education seminars regularly. She is also a big believer in service, which is why she stays active in the community and volunteers for many outreach projects.

When Dr. Park is not at the dental office she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two children Lily & Skyler.

A native of Lancaster, PA, Dr. Anthony P. Skiadas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Swarthmore College. Following graduation, he worked as a professional health care consultant for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Group. While in that position, Dr. Skiadas learned the value of relationships, and the skill of communicating with people, the strengths he brings to Smilebuilderz. During his time at Pfizer, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry and joined a practice in West Chester, PA, where he delivered general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Skiadas has studied at LVI (Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies), which is the world’s premier post-graduate dental teaching center; he has also studied under Dr. Bill Dorfman (of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover”) to learn about the advancements in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Skiadas is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His compassion for people is contagious and he successfully treats the most challenging cases in the area. His patients come to him from all walks of life, many times beginning their journey with him as a walk-in emergency and ultimately completing full-mouth restorations. His talents are off-the-charts yet he is approachable, kind, and continually earns his patients’ trust regardless of their social status. He believes great oral health is a journey – one that he is proud to accompany you on until you achieve the smile you deserve.

In his free time, Dr. Skiadas enjoys spending time with his wife Kara, four children, Pano, Roula, Elizabeth, Billy, and his two French bulldogs Stackz and Skila. He also enjoys spending time with his extended Greek family, cooking, and traveling.

Originally from northern New Jersey, Dr. Sulc received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia over 30 years ago. She practiced her dental arts as an associate dentist in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Maryland which led to her having her own practice in the suburbs of Baltimore for ten years concentrating on cosmetics, implants, and orthodontics. She circled back to beautiful Pennsylvania to enjoy living a less stressful life with her husband Mark in the York, Pennsylvania area.

During her years in Maryland, she concentrated on expanding her professional foundation and dental artistry. In 1997, Dr. Sulc received her fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry, one of our country’s top dental professional organizations dedicated to advancing one’s dental skills through continuing education. She is currently working towards her mastership award. She also received her certificate from Progressive Orthodontics in 2004, an intensive 2-year program in orthodontics for general practitioners. This knowledge has enhanced all aspects of her current dental expertise. She became very involved with the state dental organizations holding, positions of President and Delegate in the Carroll County Dental Association. She chaired the annual Maryland State Dental Association Meeting and also served on the Young Dentist Committee and Dental Action Committee (DAC). Before CSI was even a show, Dr. Sulc studied dental forensics and forensic pathology with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and was one of two dental odontologists for Baltimore County. Volunteering her time to children’s dentistry, she has worked with Ecuadent in Cuenca, Ecuador as part of a team of dentists and physicians treating medical issues of youth in that area of the country.

She’s often asked, “why dentistry?” She did not come from a medical family. Her mother was a librarian and her father, a master mechanic. Dr. Sulc- a very social child-always loved art, science, building things, cooking, sewing, and the human body which culminated in choosing dentistry as the area of medicine in which she wanted to specialize. She believes that the mouth is an area connected to the rest of the body and treats the person as a whole. Establishing a trusting long-term relationship where the patient feels listened to and cared about is her goal. If she can positively affect that person’s life in some small way, she’s achieved her purpose.

Dr. Sulc is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Lancaster County Dental Association and the Academy of the General Dentistry. When she’s not creating beautiful smiles, she’s traveling or motorcycling with her husband Mark, hiking with their dog Ruby, or enjoying quiet hobbies like gourmet cooking, gardening, reading, and knitting.

Dr. Villadiego obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA.

He developed a strong ethical foundation at an early age by following the example of his father, a well-respected physician who practiced medicine for over 40 years. Dr. Villadiego values individualized patient care and approaches dentistry with a “big picture” approach, giving patients a panoramic perspective of their needs, devising long-lasting treatment plans that encompass all aspects of dentistry.

Providing quality, cutting-edge dentistry is a priority to Dr. Villadiego, as he far exceeds the state’s continuing education requirements on an annual basis and keeps his patients and staff up-to-date on the latest trends in dentistry.

Dr. Villadiego resides in Delaware, and during his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and cats.

His interests include reading, running, and painting occasionally.

Dr. DeLisa Williams was born and raised in Canton, Mississippi, known as the “Movie Capital of Mississippi.” From early on, Dr. Williams knew that she wanted a career in healthcare. Her passion for serving the public was very prevalent. She also knew that at some point in her life she wanted a family of her own. She decided to pursue a career in Dentistry, which allowed her the flexibility to have both. Dr. Williams received her undergraduate degree in Pre-Med Chemistry from the Xavier University of Louisiana, a Masters in Biochemistry from Mississippi State University, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Williams has over 30 years of experience as a general dentist in both the public and private sectors and has served as a Dental Director at numerous Public Health Clinics. As the Dental Director, she provided dental leadership, program development initiatives, and keen insight into how the public health dental clinics could provide care to people who had access to care issues. She then transitioned to private practice and operated her own dental practice for 12 years before joining the Smilebuilderz family.

She is known for providing treatment to her patients in a caring and compassionate manner. She is committed to providing comprehensive oral health and overall wellness to all of her patients.

Dr. Williams spends a considerable amount of time examining cutting edge technologies and procedures as a way to provide a high-quality service to her patients. She is passionate about providing exceptional care for her patients and believes that her commitment to continuing education is beneficial. She fulfills this educational need through active membership in the American Dental Association, the Lancaster County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Furthermore, she is an active community member who enjoys volunteering. She recently completed a mission trip to the jungles of Peru providing dental services to people who had never seen a dentist.

Dr. DeLisa Williams is married to Sylvester E. Williams, IV, Esq. and they are the proud parents of three sons, Jabril, Sy, and Joseph. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, and visiting her good friends.

Originally hailing from Cary, North Carolina, Dr. Ashley Zhang completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.

Dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive dental care, Dr. Zhang offers services ranging from routine check-ups to preventive care and cosmetic dentistry. With a commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in the field, she strives to deliver state-of-the-art dental solutions tailored to individual needs.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Zhang finds joy in activities such as knitting, pilates, and spending quality time with loved ones. Eager to contribute to the Lancaster community, she looks forward to educating locals on dental health while embracing all that the area has to offer.
